Destiny 2 Season of the Deep continues the seasonal tradition of adding a plethora of new weapons, including one exotic, for you to farm. However, this time around, Bungie has added an extra new weapon that isn't entirely easy to get.

The weapon in question is the new Solar Hand Cannon called the Epochal Integration. It's not part of the battle pass, and players can't farm it from the new seasonal activity either. As such, here's our guide, which explains how to get the Epochal Integration hand cannon in Destiny 2 Season of the Deep.

How to Unlock the Epochal Integration Hand Cannon in Destiny 2 Season of the Deep

You can get the Epochal Integration hand cannon by completing the new quest, "Parting the Veil." Sadly, this quest won't appear until you have finished Lightfall's campaign and the "Unfinished Business" quest.

Once you have cleared those, head to Neomuna and talk to Nimbus to pick up the "Parting the Veil" quest. It's a six steps quest and shouldn't take more than an hour to finish.

After completing all the objectives, head back to Neomuna and go to the Pouka Ponds in the Hall of Heroes to meditate and get the new Strand Aspects. Doing so will complete the "Parting the Veil" quest and also get you the Epochal Integration hand cannon.

Epochal Integration Hand Cannon Perks in Destiny 2

The Epochal Integration roll that you get from completing the "Parting the Veil" quest is master-worked and has an Adaptive Frame. As for its perks:

  • Barrel:  Small Bore - Dual strength barrel. Increases range, increases stability.
  • Magazine: Ricochet Rounds - Rounds ricochet off hard surfaces. Increases stability, slightly increases range.
  • Perk 1
Stats for All - Hitting three separate targets increases weapon handling, stability, reload, and range for a moderate duration.
Keep Away - Increased reload, range, and accuracy when no combatants are in close proximity.
  • Perk 2
Incandescent - Defeating a target spreads scorch to those nearby. More powerful combatants and opposing Guardians cause scorch in a larger radius.
Eye of the Storm - This weapon becomes more accurate and boosts handling as your health gets lower.
  • Origin Trait
Nanotech Tracer Rockets - Landing multiple hits turns your next shot into a homing micro-rocket.
Harmonic Resonance - Equipping multiple weapons from this set grants this weapon increased reload speed and handling. It also deals increased damage versus Tormentors, Lucent Hive, and Guardians using their Supers.
